In June 2008 a group of young people from the Aida refugee camp in Bethlehem - children who live beneath the shadow of the separation wall - visited the UK. They came with their stories of living at the wrong end of guns pointed at them, the stun grenades and tear gas, the theft of their land and the demolition of their houses. They told of the 'accidents' where children are shot and the 'theft' of young people who disappear, without information, into the prisons of an occupying state. However, they brought so much more - the vitality and enjoyment of young people with something positive to say and the strength and determination to say it, through their performance, through their photography and their hopes and wishes for a just and peaceful future.
