Mama's in the kitchen
Port Vila (Vli)
Making food is practically the only industry where local women can work. Any time of the day, the village mamas will cook a hearty carb filled plate, including taro and rice, at Port Vila market.

It's also one of the only places where I saw nivan people showing pride on doing their own thing, without a gringo on top of them. The heart of Vanuatu beats at Vila market.

Again a wonderful diptich that speaks volumes. Really some serious, solid shooting here, with a purpose. May I suggest one of my favorite and well worn titles to you as an alternative:
"Mama's in the kitchen", along with these timeless and truly apt lyrics:

Mama likes to listen to the grand old gospel time
Daddy is a cowboy drinkin' beer and wine
Mama's in the kitchen standin' there all alone
She got Jesus on the radio and daddy on the phone

(Tom T Hall)

Up to you, of course... It's been a while since I suggested one of these -;o)
