Taken in Liège, where people are much more relax than in Brussels, and also of a more "fiery" character, with close historical links to France, the 14th of July is celebrated here too. Cafés and bars of all kinds abound on the pavements, sometimes right by the passing cars...

Sorry for not answering and commenting these days, I have a mild conjunctivitis, so I keep away from the Net. :-)

Thick, layered compo with extraordinary depth - the DOG is very important here among all those humans...;o) Encore une fois un travail percutant qui revele beaucoup du lieu. Bien joue, Michele!
I'm with Animesh on this one as well.  The layers and tones are great except for the guy in the foreground which could have been positioned more towards the left a bit.

An intense composition.  Quite complex, with layers of activity, all orchestrated as it were like in an opera.  Love that hand through the window.  The quality of tonality is excellent.

(A nitpick--the only thing that strikes me is that the foreground man might have been placed a little bit to the left of the frame, by just stepping a half a foot to the right and turning the camera a wee bit to the left to take in the entire field)
