Many Afghan refugees in Pakistan live in camps around the city of Peshawar, close to the border. These people are often employed in brick factories where they can earn some money. Like Ancient Egypt. Child labor. As much as we've tried to fight against it, it persists. Who knows? With the coming depression . . . maybe we'll see this all over the (former) First World as well. Best, -h.
