Many Afghan refugees in Pakistan live in camps around the city of Peshawar, close to the border. These people are often employed in brick factories where they can earn some money. Unfortunately a lot of child labour is used in these places.

A singularly clean and unpretentious portrait that is somehow enhanced by the oof onlooker in the background, setting off the context of the photo. Nicely muted color.
My first thought was the "male-photo" of the Afghan girl of Steve Mc Curry in the national geographic . the same strong look ! Great portrait...
