PHOTO DESCRIPTION
The second FACE in this project belongs to a young moslim girl that we met while cycling through Chin.  Although Chin state is mainly and the only Christian State in Burma there are many moslim villages. (The first Christian missionaries Rev. Arthur Carson and his wife Laura Carson, arrived at Haka, the present Chin State capital, on March 15, 1899 from America.)

Superb shot, dear Elaine. Not only is your subject so delicate and lovely, with a genuine, beautiful smile, but the way you shot her, with that mottled glowing bokeh behind, is absolutely gorgeous. The colours are very nice and the tanaka (?) on her face and chest is interesting. What does she wear on her dress? Looks strange.
Take care,
sasa

very good bokeh imho...not overused, highlighting the girl's pretty face. why is she covered in some kind of white powder?

Elaine, this is a charming portrait with nice bokeh and pleasing complementary colours. I might be tempted to sharpen her eyes a little but I know it's a matter of personal preference. Best wishes Stephen
