Rafal 250 / 300 not a big difference, normally with 250 and the size we allow for the picture, you shouldn't have any problems.
what soft do you use to change your picture in JPG file ?

Hi guys,
The 250k limit has at least two reasons :
- Avoid network overloads
- Avoid "pics robbery" (250k pics are ok for a computer screen but not for printing)
Normally, you can choose the quality (and then the size) of your pic with almost any soft (even with Windows ). If you encounter any problem, send us a PM, we can help you if needed !

I would still suggest putting it up to 300kb....I have a color series coming and some of the shots have to be really compressed to get below 250....while it wouldnt be so bad to get below 300kb....

Trekearth's limit was 200kb for 800pix wide images... and that was quite easy to manage within the available space at compression quality 9 to 10... I have never been over the 250kb ceiling for a 750 pix wide image... unless you're into insect macro, which needs really really fine details, you should never hit the 250kb mark.

Probably you should first re assess your compression method and reckon that for a 750 pix image, you actually don't loose much detail whenever you choose a 8 to 10 compression quality with Pshop.
