Yes, this is great stuff Christian. You have now revealed yourself to be a portraitist of note - just outstanding scenes one after the other - painterly, dramatic, noble even...

Remembers me to an Antonioni movie. Bravo!!!!.( are your knees still in tact from this position?) And what I like in special -- believe it or not -- is the grain. It's as if a man was working with a m6...:-)))

Hi Cristian
Pretty dark but full of atmosphere. The singer is positioned brilliantly within the frame. The half light's also very nice on the guitar player on the right. Have you considered slightly highlighting the bottom right side (just enough to have a bit more detail on the hand and perhaps seeing a few frets on the guitar)

just an idea....

I love this series from FB of course, but it looks better here...I love the atmosphere, that Portguese unspoken 'sodade' is there. I like the underexposure, the shadows the use of available light. I have been doing alot of undereposed shots on my current travels (althogh Ankor was hard to get a decent shot).

Great composition along the vertical - so fine, Cristian. AGain superb photography. B/W works fine of course though I bet the color executions would be pretty interesting too. Great stuff!

Salut Cristian:
I am absolutely STUNNED at the total lack of comments on thisn one (lower faces are a tad dark but oodles of atmosphere and a painterly sense pervade). This is a great project, glimpses of which I have already seen on Facebook. Love that you are sharing it with us here.
Bon courage and please don't stop - top notch work in low light!

Interesting compo and expression of the woman. I will have another look over the weekend where I have a better screen, so you´ll get more feedback than.

part II
A well balanced color composition, some red , amber, green. The monk's gesture kept me think and look for a while, a ritual action in the dark, some light coming from left as if it would breath soul in this scenery. A very quiet photo. A still life. (I'm a bit wondering that it does not get more attention)

A touch dark on my work screen, Cristian, but quite beautiful and intriguing. I think you've reached a stage in your flirtatiousness with darknessw eher you might consider doing prints, which can render certain tonal subtleties better than a limited PC screen.

I believe you've emerged as a genuine force these last few months, my friend. Unlike my vulgar, Zola-like cartoonish tableaus, you are producing moments of great lyrical power and you now have a very distinct signature. I salute you this morning, having nothing better to do...;o)
